Surveillance cameras are installed throughout the hospital for safety management and crime prevention.
Use of smartphones by the medical staff
For rapid diagnosis and to facilitate treatment, this hospital makes use of exclusive hospital-use smartphones in order to share diagnoses and test information of the patients among the medical staff.
Testing for infectious diseases
As a safety measure, regardless of your illness, a blood test for diseases which can be transmitted through blood (serological test for syphilis, hepatitis B test, hepatitis C test, HIV, etc.) and a bacterial test to prevent hospital infection (MRSA: methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, etc.) are carried out.
Health insurance card
Your health insurance card, proof of various recipient payments, and Certificate of Eligibility for Ceiling-Amount Application are confirmed every month. Please bring these on your first visit for the month.
Furthermore, if your health insurance card cannot be confirmed, you may be charged for the full medical fee.
This hospital accepts your My Number Card as your medical insurance card.
Identity authentication (myna reception) can be carried out easily by placing your My Number Card on the card reader which includes facial recognition installed at the reception counter.
Various changes
If your name, address, telephone number, and other information has changed, please inform the reception counter or payment processing counter.
Additional Fees for First Visits Without a Referral
If you are visiting this hospital for the first time and do not have a referral letter (a patient referral document) from another authorized insurance medical institution, you will therefore be asked to pay 8,800 yen as an additional fee for treatment of patients’ choice in addition to the first visit fee covered by your health insurance.
Additional Fees for Continued Treatment
If you continue to receive medical care at this hospital, even if you have been introduced to another clinic, etc., you may be charged 3,300 yen (tax included) at the time of your second visit, in addition to any follow-up consultation fees under covered by your health insurance.
Use of cell phones and smartphones
Cell phones and smartphones can be used in the following areas. Please refrain from using cell phones and smartphones in places other than the following designated areas.
- Main entrance hall
- Elevator halls on each floor
- Private rooms in wards
Smoking is not allowed on the premises
According to Measures to Prevent Passive Smoking in Article 25 of Health Promotion Act, smoking within the facilities and premises of this hospital is prohibited. (This includes new types of cigarettes such as e-cigarettes and heated tobacco devices.)
No smoking
Smoking increases the risk of complications during and after surgery.
In some cases, surgery may be discontinued or postponed due to continued smoking.
Please refrain from smoking if surgery has been scheduled.
